Computer Engineering has been one of the most influential engineering disciplines in the rapid development of technology over the past 30 years. It is a field that contributes to scientific knowledge through theoretical work and makes an impact in all areas of life through practical applications. Today, scientists from many different disciplines rely on the hardware and software developed by computer engineers in their research. The primary aim of TED University’s Undergraduate Program in Computer Engineering is to meet the rapidly increasing demand for computer engineers both in Turkey and abroad by educating highly qualified graduates who possess strong social skills and are in high demand.
Our department’s goal is to train graduates who can transform theoretical knowledge into practice, closely follow global developments, possess strong communication skills, are capable of working in teams, have in-depth knowledge in both hardware and software aspects of computer engineering, and are open to innovation.
Our graduates, with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they acquire through their education and training:
- Work in institutions and companies developing high technology as computer engineers.
- Conduct postgraduate studies in computer engineering or related disciplines in domestic and international educational and research institutions.
- Have the ability to conduct research, utilize their independent learning skills, and apply what they have learned to solve existing problems or improve existing solutions.
