Solar Start SPED Project

Our University’s senior Computer Engineering students Yelda Yaren Erdemir, Yüksel Efe Tokat, Fevzi Berk Çeliktaş ve Ozan Alp Sarıdoğan developed an innovative system under the supervision Professor Gökçe Nur Yılmaz. As their senior project the team developed “SPED” ,which is a system that automatically detects defects in solar panel cells, in collaboration with Solar Start A.Ş.. Aiming to contribute to the field of sustainable energy, this project combines digital image processing and machine learning, bringing together sustainable technology and engineering.
